Samuel Clemens High School
Eight minutes to the south of our facility is Samuel Clemens High School, where preparing students for success is the highest goal. Here, the top priority is to ensure all graduates are ready for college, the military, or a career. Making sure all students feel welcome and included is also important, and part of preparing them for success. The school has a program called Not on Our Campus (NOOC), which protects student against anti-gay harassment, racism, and all other types of intolerant behavior. NOOC encourages everyone to think inclusively.
For students who want to join the military after graduation, SCHS has a military student transition consultant, Tina Barber. Mrs. Barber helps students make a smooth transition from high school to military life. Academic tracks include advanced placement (AP), dual credit (DC), and international baccalaureate (IB). Just across the I-35 freeway from us are several shopping centers, including a big Walmart Super Center at 6102 FM 30009. This Walmart Super Center includes a Woodforest National Bank, deli, garden center, auto center, vision center, pharmacy, and a Cellairis Phone Repair shop. We’d like to highlight two parks within five minutes of our facility, to the southeast. The first is Veterans Memorial Park. It’s a fun place to take your children, whether they want to swing and slide, or cool off in a pool.

Just minutes from our location along I-35 is an entertainment complex where you can spend a few hours or a full day having fun. “This storage facility is a place where your belongings are NOT safe, secure and will be in danger of pests that are in fact deadly once your in contact with their feces and urine. Just after one month a black widow was found. Followed by my son retrieving a few of his belongings only two find two dead rats, yes rats. Not friendly little field mice. He immediately threw them out (which made me mad as I needed photos and the evidence). However, I did send a text to the office immediately who texts me all the time. It was this moment I decided, I would no longer be paying and would let them have everything and enjoy the auction. I could care less. Now here is the other shi!!y thing they do. My room is advertised for $64 and I was paying $89 a month. Then they increased me not even six months in, to now $98. Yet, the website is still advertised at $64. Straight corrupt and thefts. Finally they never credited anything for the rats and never responded to that text but definitely text me asking for money. Lmao get out of here!! Yours truly.”
